All our web, E-commerce and database projects benefit from being handled in a similar, professional manner and generally involve the following stages:

Project Management

Each project that we undertake has a nominated Project Manager to give our Clients a single contact point to guide them through the requirements and timescale of the project.

Defining the Project Scope

Through consultative discussions and workshops into the current operating environment, target markets, strategies, and business plans, we build up a set of project based Client objectives. Development of both functional and technical specifications help to communicate and clarify the project, and ensures all parties have a shared vision of the plan.

Design

The critical stage in bringing the functional and technical scope together into a pictorial format to create a prototype design. Once approved, the design becomes part of the project specification.

Application Build

The creative and technical teams collaborate to produce a working application that matches the project scope. During this phase, the Client has access to the test site to monitor development. For this part of the process copy text will be required which can be provided by the Client, or you can take advantage of our copy writing services.

Final Testing

As you would expect, all our web based applications are tested to ensure cross-browser support. Where applicable, we also test for data continuity, integrated transactions, and scenario based processing.

Implementation and "Go Live"

Launching a website needs to be a well managed process. Your Project Manager will be on hand during this time to ensure that all the technical and non-technical aspects have been covered - such as functionality and scenario test completion, legacy and start-up data convergence, staff training plans, connected marketing and promotion activity readiness, and of course, the web hosting support service availability. Following Go Live we will also help you monitor the Customer Service requests to ensure that everything is working well.
